- How it started
One long queue. One clear problem.
Our founding team spent years attending and running events across Lagos. The tools were always the bottleneck — counterfeit paper tickets, manual sign-in spreadsheets, and hours-long queues for events that sold out in minutes.
Existing platforms were built for other markets. They didn’t account for Nigerian payment flows, network connectivity, or the scale of events that happen every weekend in Lagos alone.
So we built Savanna Event — three purpose-built apps covering ticketing, organiser management, and gate entry, connected into one platform.
