Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Savanna Event platform — including the Attendee App, Organiser Portal, and Scanner App — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Savanna Event Ltd, incorporated in Nigeria. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase tickets on Savanna Event. By using the platform you confirm you meet this requirement.
If you are using Savanna Event on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Accounts and Registration
To access most features you must create an account with accurate, current, and complete information. You agree to keep your account details updated.
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials, including any biometric authentication methods you enable. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
Savanna Event may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used fraudulently.
4. Ticket Purchases and Refunds
When you purchase a ticket through the Attendee App, you enter a contract with the event organiser, not Savanna Event. We act as the ticketing and payment technology provider.
All ticket prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include any applicable service fees. Payment is processed securely at the time of booking.
Refund eligibility is set by the individual organiser’s policy displayed before you complete your purchase. Default policy: full refund up to 48 hours before the event; 50% refund between 48–24 hours; no refund within 24 hours of the event start.
Ticket transfers to another person are permitted at no extra cost. Contact our support team to initiate a transfer.
5. Organiser Obligations
Organisers are responsible for the accuracy of all event information published, including venue, date, time, and ticket descriptions.
Organisers must honour the refund policy shown on their event pages. Failure to do so may result in platform suspension.
Organisers must not use the platform to promote events that are illegal, harmful, or violate applicable Nigerian laws.
Savanna Event retains a service fee on each ticket sold, communicated to organisers at onboarding and updated with 30 days’ notice.
6. Scanner App and Gate Entry
The Scanner App is provided exclusively for authorised gate staff at events hosted on the platform. Access is controlled via biometric login assigned to individual staff accounts.
Organisers are responsible for ensuring only authorised personnel have access to Scanner App accounts for their events.
Attempting to circumvent or manipulate the QR validation system constitutes fraud and may result in legal action.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You must not: (a) create or distribute counterfeit tickets; (b) use automated tools to purchase tickets in bulk for resale; (c) impersonate another person or organisation; (d) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform; (e) use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
Violations may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant law enforcement authorities.
8. Limitation of Liability
Savanna Event is a technology platform. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or conduct of events hosted on the platform. Our liability is limited to the service fees collected by us in connection with the relevant event.
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Savanna Event shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
